The Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission has tragically lost a courageous human rights defender, Hamida Barmaki, killed during a suicide bombing in Kabul.

The national human rights institutions of Jordan, Malaysia and Qatar were among 16 reviewed by the ICC Sub-Committee on Accreditation during its October 2010 session.
